RBWM's consultation beginning on 10th January 2014 will invite public comments on RBWM intentions to allow building on areas of Green Belt land near Holyport.
The two areas of most concern to Holyport Residents are;
That between Holyport Road, Ascot Road (A330), Aysgarth Park and Old Holyport.
That between the A330, the A308(M) and the M4.
These are respectively identified as Areas 7A and 5C in RBWM's document - "Edge of Settlement Analysis, Draft Borough Local Plan, December 2013". For this, see my 6th December 2013 BLOG, third blue button to download a full copy of the latter document.
The first area, Area 7A, being closer to Holyport is discussed extensively under the tab "Topics -Threat to Holyport Green Belt".
Development of Areas 7A and / or 5C would no doubt drastically increase the traffic volumes travelling through Holyport, both on the A330 and on Holyport Road.
Such development would also add traffic to the Braywick roundabout.
